Christian Munthe

Christian Munthe (PhD) is professor of practical philosophy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a founding and steering group member of the Centre for Ethics, Law and Mental Health (CELAM), housing interdisciplinary research focused on forensic psychiatry across the humanities, law, social sciences and medicine, and close collaboration with forensic psychiatric healthcare and linked public agencies. His own research has targeted the ethics of forensic psychiatry policy, research and care, lately linking to ethical aspects of person centered care. Currently, he is engaged in the interdisciplinary program FORevidence, working to improve evidence based practice in forensic psychiatric clinical care.
